We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow designers and various departments to create a wide range of visual materials that support our organisation initiatives, public communications, and community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce high-quality graphic design artifacts including print and digital materials such as brochures, posters, banners, reports, social media graphics, and more
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual solutions
• Facilitate the design process from concept to completion, ensuring consistency with branding standards and branding guidelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
• Contribute ideas and innovative approaches to enhance visual communication strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a government, public sector, or community-focused organisation
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to interpret briefings and translate them into clear, effective designs
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles is desirable

This role would suit a local resident of the Northern Beaches as it will initially require you to be in house 5 days per week.
