Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client, an EPC company, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (part-time) to join their Perth team.

Project: SUSCAP Mining (LV & NPI)
Location: Perth
Duration: 12-months, Part-time (2-3 workdays per week)

The role responsibilities include:

Prepare electrical and instrumentation designs and calculations in accordance with relevant Client and Australian Standards

LV detailed design, MCC’s, Switch rooms, Switchgear, and the design elements for the supporting infrastructure

Specification and technical document writing

Management and ownership of electrical, instrumentation and controls design in projects

Support and collaborate with designers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements

Prepare technical engineering documents as part of the overall project engineering deliverables

What you’ll have:

Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

10 years or more experience in bulk material handling and NPI projects in a design and construction environment

DIgSILENT PowerFactory software proficiency - advantageous

Knowledge of LV Design

Understanding of relevant Australian and industry codes and standards
