Craigieburn South Primary School is seeking a Finance Assistant, to provide support to the Business Manager. The role will encompass Accounts Payable & Receivable, Payroll, End Of Month & reporting, Bank Reconciliations as well as other aspects of support required by the school, including reception, supporting staff, and other general tasks.

Casual hourly rate $47.73
No requirement to work during school holidays
Preferred hours 8.00am – 4.00pm (negotiable) x 5 days per week
Contract is to the end of the Term 1 2026 (with the possibility of an on-going role)
Requirements
Strong financial management knowledge and experience is required including;
Accounts Payable
Payroll & H.R.
Accounts Receivable
Must have advanced word & excel skills.
Knowledge of DET systems including CASES21, Compass & EduPay is desired.
Current Police Check & Employee WWC essential.
Selection Criteria
Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position
Sound knowledge of financial management practices
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems as relevant to the position
High level organizational skills, including capacity to prioritise work flow
High level written and verbal communication skills
Capacity to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with a range of people including teachers, education support, students and parents.
