About the role

The Regional Manager provides functional leadership across the Central QLD region to support day to day operations. Your area of responsibility will include the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and the Wide Bay region. The role is responsible to promote direction and leadership for the planning and delivery of aged care services, operating within the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators and creating practice excellence across our service delivery streams.

What will this look like on a day to day basis?

Delivering on our strategic plan by implementing strategies, contributing to business planning, and setting clear targets and KPI’s for business development and growth

Drawing on specialist knowledge and expertise to deliver quality in new and existing service delivery under complex compliance requirements for the Support at Home Program and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and NDIS support plans within a consumer directed care model

Promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence that attracts and retains team members and participants

Building and maintaining positive effective relationships with key stakeholders involved in the provision of aged and community services including referral partners, health services, brokerage partners and clinical/ allied health providers

Identifying, utilising and being fiscally responsible in delivering the maximum level of services to eligible customers and ensuring accountability for expenditure, budget and agreed targets

Providing strong leadership in all human resource management activities, cultivating a values-led culture and high-performing teams

Driving continuous improvement activities and lead strong change management practices

Overseeing WHS, Quality and Compliance, and identifying and managing safety risks, in accordance with legislative, best practice and organisational requirements for improved outcomes

Sunshine Coast or Bundaberg based

$10,000 vehicle allowance (as travel across the Central Qld region is required)

Current Open Driver's Licence and NDIS Worker Screening required

What skills and experience do you need to be a Regional Manager?

Tertiary qualifications (preferred) in Community Services, Health Management, Aged or Disability and/or Clinical background and relevant experience in the community services sector

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary and diverse teams to deliver quality aged care and community services, to maintain and drive business growth.

Sound financial management, budgeting and compliance aptitude with the proven ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment

Experience in service development and delivery, operational planning and driving continuous quality improvement aligning to Strengthened Aged Care Quality standards and NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators

Proven ability to foster and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and to relate to and work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse.

Proven ability to drive projects and programs to achieve outputs and to lead improvements, change and service excellence
