ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Risk team currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Asset Risk Manager to join the team and support Custom Fleets Truck, Plant & Equipment team by setting maintenance budgets and residual values (RVs) on commercial assets and automating these processes where possible to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Duties will include (but not limited to) -
Setting maintenance budgets and RVs on existing and new contracts on complex commercial assets based on technical expertise, market knowledge and sound business judgment
Playing a key role in the development of RV and maintenance matrices for high volume and standard usage commercial vehicles
Identifying risks/deficiencies within the portfolio and propose strategies to monitor and/or mitigate the associated risks for consideration by senior management and provide supporting analysis, verification, and validation of any recommendations
Working with suppliers to access maintenance data and remarketing partners to get appraisals & RV guarantees
Monitoring existing residual positions for appropriateness on an on-going basis
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in securing a role with our crew it’s likely you’ll come with experience in the following areas:
Minimum 7 years Heavy Commercial Plant and Equipment industry experience.
A strong understanding of core fleet management activities to assist the team in identifying, monitoring and report on key business risks.
Relevant Diesel and or Plant Technician Qualifications is highly desirable.
Valuation experience - Accreditation such as AVAA, ASA or API equivalent is highly desirable
Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, PowerPoint with advanced Excel skills.
Ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels couped with sound communication skills
