We have a requirement with our client partner for a TechnicalBusiness Analyst with retail industry experience to join their team on a 3-Month contract based in Melbourne.

As a TechnicalBusiness Analyst, your role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your responsibilities would typically cover requirement gathering, process optimization, system configuration, testing, and stakeholder communication with a focus on retail and POS operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders (retail managers, finance, IT, and end-users) to understand business needs related to POS and retail operations.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and document business processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Work with developers and architects to design solutions.
• Define user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Document system configurations, business processes, and data flows.
• Assist in configuring POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS) to align with business needs.
• Define hardware and software requirements for POS terminals.
• Support integrations with payment gateways, inventory management, and third-party applications.
