Ramcorp are a privately owned civil construction and underground mining company supplying various related equipment and labour services throughout the country.

We are currently seeking suitably qualified applications to fill multiple Diesel Fitter vacancies across Tasmania and Victoria.

Working a 7:7 even time rotating roster on both day and night shifts, these casual roles will be situated within an underground mining environment and are ongoing. Flights, accommodation and meals provided.

You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and breakdown services on a wide range of mobile plant equipment.

Responsibilities:

Ensure maintenance schedules are carried out as per work order requirements.

Attend breakdowns.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical faults.

Provide documentation as required to meet all regulations.

Be involved with close inspection of mobile plant equipment including;

Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment prior to its use.

Complete plant mechanical repairs and rebuilds.

Be committed to continually improving safety and uphold the importance of zero harm for personnel and equipment.

To be successful you will need to display the following skills, attributes and qualifications.

Trade qualification (Cert. III Automotive - Heavy Vehicle).

Extensive experience fitting various mobile plant and equipment.

Be reliable and organised.

Have the ability to complete clear and concise job documentation / paperwork

A team player who can also work autonomously.

Previous experience conducting change-outs, breakdowns and fault finding.

With an hourly rate of $75.00 p/h, this is a great opportunity for experienced Diesel Fitters.
