About us
The Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) is a vibrant, values driven NFP, focused on partnering with Government and the community to co-design services that create real social change. We are an organisation with a bold vision to create a safe and inclusive community where prison truly is the last resort. Our purpose is to strengthen the wellbeing of our communities by advocating for and delivering services which divert people away from the justice system.

About the role
The role of the Forensic Case Worker (After-hours Response) is to work in collaboration with Corrections Victoria to provide an effective, flexible, and responsive after-hours and recall response to participants on post-sentence orders, as part of the Community Support Program (CSP). The Forensic Case Worker (After-hours Response) may also be called upon to provide after-hours and/or weekend support to CSP participants where individualised needs arise.

The Forensic Case Worker (After-hours Response) will be responsible for working an after-hours roster (i.e., 5pm to 11pm) and will engage directly with post-sentence participants, who have after hour or weekend support needs. As part of this role, you may be recalled after-hours to provide support to participants who require relocation or supervision within the community.
