Position: Senior Psychologist – Prison Mental Health Service

Vacancy: Permanent full-time

Location: Townsville

About the role:

The Psychologist – Senior (Prison Mental Health Services) provides high level clinical services and leadership within the multidisciplinary Prison Mental Health Service (PMHS) team. The role is responsible for forensic mental health care through timely and responsive service provision required to meet the objectives of the PMHS.

Enjoy a generous remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range: $4912.70 to $5286.40 p.f. (HP4)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications (Psychology) and proof of registration/membership (if applicable).
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
