About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Grade 1 Dietitian to join our Warrnambool Health service. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care within a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team.

As a Grade 1 Dietitian, you will play a key role in achieving discipline outcomes and promoting best practice in patient care. Your focus will be on delivering effective and efficient nutrition services across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community care.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting accurate nutritional assessments and developing appropriate clinical management plans
  • Managing and prioritising a varied caseload effectively
  • Maintaining accurate statistics and clinical records in line with professional standards
  • Collaborating with the broader healthcare team to support integrated patient care

This is a fantastic opportunity for a new or early-career dietitian to grow their skills in a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on patient health outcomes.

Position overview

  • Employment Type: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly ADO), Fixed-term position until August 2026.
  • Location: Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Dietitian Grade 1
  • Salary Range: $64,708.80 - $92,123.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
