Position: Plant Operators

• $44.14 per hour

Our government client is seeking Plant Operators to assist with road construction works around the Hay/ Rookery area. The position requires camping away from the Hay depot, accommodation to be provided.

The main duties include:

• Operating various large plant including Loaders and Rollers – Multi, Padfoot, Smooth Drum, Mixer, Grader, Trucks.
• Conducting safety checks on all plant used, complete basic maintenance such as refueling and check the fluid maintenance records and reports to ensure the safe use of plant items.
• Assist as a Road Worker, labouring on a construction crew.

To be successful you will require:

• Experience operating a mixture of Plant including Rollers and Loaders
• White Card
• MR Truck is required
• Workers on Foot (or willing to obtain)
• Traffic control tickets (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work as part of a team

This assignment will run up to the end of June with the high potential to be extended for the right candidate.
