Bajara Plant Hire is seeking dedicated and experienced Earthmoving Plant Operators - Oakey Defense Base, Toowoomba QLD, to join our growing team. Bajara has secured multiple and exciting new projects throughout Brisbane and are looking for multi skilled operators with experience in rock breaking, hydraulic ripping, concrete demolition, civil construction and drainage.

Multi skilled Civil Construction Operators

Ability to work autonomously and safely

Work well with others

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Operator Positions

Excavator operator with Heavy Combination Truck License (6tonne Excavators)

Excavator 14tonne (GPS preferred)

Excavator 24tonne (GPS preferred)

Excavator 36t (GPS preferred)

Truck and Skid Steer Operator

Tipper Truck and Float Drivers for material haulage and machine transport. Multi Combination preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Completing daily pre starts efficiently

Safely assessing work/operating environment prior to operating

Coordinate with project staff to understand daily tasks

Daily greasing and upkeep of your machine

Closely monitoring your machine performance daily and reporting any issues that may arise during the day

Operate all plant and equipment safely and within the machine's capabilities

Raising any project/equipment issues or concerns immediately with your site supervisor and Bajara Supervisor

Supporting other Bajara colleagues onsite

Develop and maintain strong relationships with operators, clients and suppliers

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in the civil construction/general construction industries.

RII tickets for respective plant and equipment including:

RII Excavator

RII Skid Steer

RII Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) Including Moxy

RII Front end loader

Truck License Heavy Rigid (HR) & Heavy Combination (HC)

Civil construction, Pad trimming, soil conditioning, drainage, and general plant hire experienced

Own reliable transport. Oakey Defense base, Toowoomba.
