Overview

Working with one of our major food producers, known for feeding families across Australia you will contribute to the team as a Forklift Driver (Day Shift, Monday to Friday) Level 3 Hort Award with the casual rate of $31.05 per hour.

About the Position:

• You will see yourself unloading containers of stored materials
• Acting autonomously to achieve unloading and storage goals
• May involve stacking and/or loading pallets
• Quickly address and resolve any mechanical issues to keep operations smooth and running at an appropriate level
• Work closely with coworkers to meet production targets and uphold safety standards
• Supporting and contributing to a proactive WHS environment and operating within company requirements for safety and health.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid High Risk Forklift Ticket
• Evidenced experience operating a forklift safely and effectively
• Strong focus on maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks
• Demonstrated safety record
• Demonstrated English language and numeracy proficiency
• Ability to follow guidelines and instructions
• Good communication skills to contribute positively, report issues and coordinate with the team
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating safely in an agricultural environment and adhering to WHSE requirements.
• Workers must demonstrate the ability to get to work each day using their own transport as no public transport is available near the work location.
