About the role

Cubbyhouse Montessori, a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education, is seeking passionate and dedicated Assistant Cert III and Diploma Educators to join our team in The Gap, QLD 4061. As a part-time, full-time or casual role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the care and development of young children in our nurturing Montessori environment.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the implementation of the Montessori curriculum and provide engaging educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years

Collaborate with Lead Educators to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth

Ensure a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment by maintaining high standards of supervision and hygiene

Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

Participate in staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Montessori qualifications (not essential but highly valued)

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or education setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy

A current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)

A genuine desire to contribute to the growth and development of young children

We don't normally need to hire staff but we have 2 staff on a gap year travelling Europe, 2 mum's about to have another addition to their family and a grandma taking leave to look after her grandchildren, we have a number of positions available for the right people.
