Mini Car Rentals is looking for a confident, dynamic and Chinese-speaking front office superstar to join our growing team full-time in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland—where the reef meets the rainforest!

About the Role:

You’ll be the welcoming face of our business—helping customers with bookings, providing expert local knowledge, and managing front office operations. You’ll also engage with Chinese-speaking travellers through WeChat and Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu) and help make their Cairns experience truly memorable.

You must be comfortable working independently, managing phones, emails, front desk admin, and bookings with confidence and efficiency.

You'll also have the opportunity to provide tourist information and learn how to sell tours and activities, becoming a local ambassador and helping visitors make the most of their stay.

Start Date: Late May 2025
Roster: Three-week rotating schedule with the following days off:

Week 1: Friday & Saturday

Week 2: Sunday & Monday

Week 3: Thursday & half-day Tuesday

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven customer service experience
✅ Confident handling admin, emails, calls, and customer interactions independently
✅ Full open Australian car driver’s licence
✅ Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) with strong English proficiency
✅ Confident and dynamic work style – stays calm under pressure and thinks on their feet
✅ Tech-savvy with experience using WeChat and Little Red Book
✅ Knowledge (or enthusiasm to learn) about the Cairns region
✅ A permanent Cairns resident seeking long-term employment
✅ Tourism or hospitality background preferred—but we’ll train the right person!
✅ A great team player who fits into a fun, young and multicultural workplace
