The Fish Factory is excited to announce a job opportunity for three full-time Pick Packers (Night Shift), with shifts starting at 2:00am. Working a 5 day roster, 38 hours per week, including one Saturday shift, this role offers the successful candidates the ability to be part of a fast paced, high functioning team. This role will include freezer and chiller work. This role offers the luxury of an early start-early finish roster on a full-time basis, operating at the heart of our wholesale operation.

Your role

The successful candidate will be someone who values high levels of teamwork & efficiency. Having a focus on efficient task completion, the successful candidate portrays high levels of attention to detail. You will be joining an established team of packing and warehouse crew, supervised by the Operations Manager.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

Picking, packing and labelling of fish and other seafood products for fulfilment of customer orders

General seafood processing

General warehouse duties as required.

Experience, qualifications & personal attributes

Essential

Knowledge, qualification and/or proven application of food safety and hygiene standards

Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be attentive to customer/client needs and determined to provide customer/client satisfaction.

Ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.

Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude

Strong work ethic.
