About the Role
St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a number of passionate and experienced chemotherapy competent registered nurses to join the Nurse Workforce Unit's Casual Nurse Bank team, to work within our chemotherapy day unit.
- Casual position
- Shifts are 0800-1630hrs
- Fitzroy location, close to Gertrude St and the CBD

The Cancer Centre provides multidisciplinary care for cancer patients in the one location, which include:
Consultation Clinics:
- Medical Oncology
- Clinical Haematology
- Sarcoma
- Clinical Palliative Care
- Psychosocial Cancer Care
- Chemotherapy Day Unit
- Cancer Centre Pharmacy
Clinical Trials Units:
- Oncology
- Haematology
- Cancer Services
- Cancer Nurse Coordinators
Classifications for the RN position will range from ZU3 - ZU11 ($67527.2 - $95,378.40 per annum) pro rata.
About You and Your Contribution
You will be a passionate, motivated chemotherapy trained (both IV and oral medications) nurse who enjoys variety in their work and are excited by the prospect of growing as a professional through developing your clinical skills and knowledge. Your strong interpersonal skills will see you work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You understand and are interested in the complex and varied needs of our consumer population and driven to provide the best care possible.
- Current condition free nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Current National criminal history check or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated ADAC certified chemotherapy administration qualification
- Postgraduate qualification in oncology/haematology nursing preferred but not essential.
- Experience utilising the electronic MOSAIQ system preferred but not essential.
