About the Role
Exciting opportunities currently exists for motivated Grade 2 Registered Nurses who are seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to become part of our dynamic team, on a fixed term part time basis.

The Grade 2 Registered Nurse, under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager, will assisting his/her colleagues and facilitating achievement of specific KPI's as be responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care within the team environment. The Grade 2 Nurse will also be responsible for his/her own professional development in order to maintain clinical skills and knowledge.

• Demonstrate a person care approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice ensuring high standard of nursing care to patients in the Day Procedure Unit working within the St Vincent's policy and procedures
• Document, observe and report relevant nursing findings about patients status and progress
• Liaise with patients, patient's family, medical and multidisciplinary staff
• Manage the physical and emotional well being of the patient
• Assist and support change, implementing process improvements

Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).

Your contribution

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Completed Bachelor of Nursing Degree
• Minimum 2 years previous nursing experience
• Previous experience working in Day Procedure Unit is desirable
• Motivated, professional & exhibiting exceptional communication and time management skills

About the Department
Day Procedures is a Monday to Friday department with no weekends, nights or public holidays. Our core business is the admission and recovery of Day Cases through Endoscopy, Theatre, Cardiac Investigation unit, Medical Imaging and the Digital Sub-angiography Suite. There are opportunities to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
