The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Electronic Security Technician to join the technical operations team. This role will see you take ownership of the installation, service, and commissioning of sophisticated electronic security systems across varied client sites. You will play a critical role in project delivery and ongoing client satisfaction. Key duties include:

• Install, program, and commission high-end electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, intercoms, and integrated networked platforms
• Troubleshoot and repair faults to ensure systems are operating to optimal standards
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and uphold compliance with company and industry standards
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics to assist in efficient installations and fault finding
• Provide end-user training and ensure systems are delivered fully operational and client-ready
• Prepare commissioning documentation, service logs, and job completion reports
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project outcomes
• Maintain strong awareness of WH&S requirements and implement safe work practices at all times

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the electronic security industry, with a proven background in system installation, commissioning, and service
• Strong technical knowledge of access control systems, ideally Integriti or Inception (Advanced Integriti Certification required)
• Experience with IP CCTV, intercoms, alarm systems, and associated infrastructure
• Current Open Cabling Licence
• Valid NSW Class 2B & 2C Security Licence (or equivalent state-based licence)
• Construction White Card
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence

Highly Regarded Experience

• Background in delivering security solutions to government, education, aged care, commercial or critical infrastructure sectors
• Experience with system integration and IP-based security platforms
• Proficiency in structured cabling and troubleshooting networked devices
• Exposure to ISO-compliant work environments and quality management systems
