As part of the Emmaus College Instrumental Music Program, you will be focused on supporting students to facilitate their successful growth in musical knowledge.

This co-curricular program at Emmaus College offers excellent quality private tuition for keen and committed students in any year level.

The aim of the Instrumental Program is the development of the students musical, social and personal awareness through participation in music instruction.

Currently, an opportunity exists for a vocal singing tutor to start at Emmaus. This position is for up to 2 days per week for an immediate start to build a database of students for vocal training.

Lessons are arranged on a private basis with a contact person at the College to assist with integrating lessons into the busy College schedule. The successful applicant will be able to operate as a private business within the College with class-time access for student lessons.

The successful applicant must:

Demonstrate experience in vocal singing tuition.

Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.

Maintain a positive rapport with children and young people.

Have experience in a school environment (preferably P-12).

Desirable experience/qualifications include:

Professional industry experience as a vocalist.

AMEB (or Equivalent)/Rockschool Vocals/Bachelor of Music (Vocals)

A passion for singing/vocals and educating young people in performing arts.

You will have a valid QLD drivers licence, current Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card and current Public Liability Insurance.
