As the Planning Programmer, you will be working with an array of Top Tier Builders, Designers and Contractors. You will work on multiple high-profile projects in a variety of sectors at once, not only client facing, but being the brains behind the project from the comfort of your home, yet being able to utilise and liaise with the Director and the team. With your current planning experience and your interest in incorporating the latest technology: MS Project, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Fuzor & Synchro Pro.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Understanding of projects via documentation studies

Development & preparation of 2D construction mud map diagrams

Development & preparation of short-, medium- and long-term design construction programmes

Regular Statusing & reporting of programmes

Development & preparation of planning tools including production matrices, tracking schedules, flow charts.

Estimating & quantity take-offs

Development & preparation of construction planning documents

Development & preparation of project control & system documents

Development & Preparation of Construction Management Plans & Waste Management Plans

Document control & document handling management

Report preparation

Coordination with the Align team, Consultants & subcontractors.

To be ideal for this role we are ideally seeking an individual with a genuine interest and passion for the Construction industry, a motivated and eager individual that wants to ensure the best possible outcome and ideally with the following or an interest in up skilling:

Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or Equivalent

5-10 years Construction Management experience as a site coordinator, site engineer &/or project engineer

Proficient in one or more of the following - MS Project / P6 Primavera / Proficient in Asta Powerproject

Experience in Scheduling

Experience with Site Coordination & Project Coordination

Proficient in Microsoft Office & potentially Power BI

General understanding of Construction Practices including, demolition, excavation, formwork & concrete, structural steel, services infrastructure, building fabric & finishes.

Willingness to learn Synchro Pro & Fuzor
