Data Engineer / Solution Designer – Data Migration Project (Banking)
Initial 6-Month Contract | $700–800/day inc. super

A leading bank is undertaking a critical data migration initiative, with my client seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer / Solution Designer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, efficient data solutions.

Key Requirements (Must-Have):

• Prior experience working within a banking environment
• Demonstrated expertise in data migration projects
• Strong ETL experience, ideally with Informatica
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Experience with complex, legacy data platforms
• Proven ability to lead solution design and work across technical and business teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of data migration solutions
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to define and document requirements
• Develop and manage scalable ETL pipelines using Informatica
• Ensure data solutions align with architecture and governance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and quality issues

Contract Details:

• Initial 6-month contract
• $700–800/day including super
• Sydney-based, with hybrid working arrangements available
