Job Summary:

We are opening a BRAND NEW STORE! We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused hospitality crew member to join our fast-casual restaurant team. Deep South Chicken is known for its delicious, crave-able food and welcoming atmosphere, and we are looking for an individual who embodies the spirit of Southern hospitality to help us create a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel like they are part of our family

Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all guest requests and dietary needs are met

Prepare and cook food items according to our recipes and procedures, ensuring that they meet our high-quality standards

Serve food and beverages promptly and with a smile, providing excellent customer service throughout the entire dining experience

Maintain a clean and organised dining area, ensuring that all tables are cleared and cleaned promptly after guests depart

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your knowledge of our menu and service standards

Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, working with the team to find solutions that exceed guest expectations

Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure that our restaurant meets or exceeds health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Experience preferred but not required in a fast-paced hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a fast casual restaurant environment

A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members

A positive and upbeat attitude, with a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations

A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining area & kitchen area

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
