Tram Cafe Team Member

At Bendigo Heritage Attractions we proudly preserve and operate three of Bendigo's most significant heritage sites; Central Deborah Gold Mine, Bendigo Tramways and the Bendigo Joss House Temple.

We are passionate about sharing the fascinating stories of these attractions, through authentic experiences, with the thousands of people who visit each year from all over the world.

We are seeking the services of a vibrant and dedicated individual to join our team at our Tram Cafe.

The Tram Cafe Team Member duties include:

Provide excellent, efficient, and friendly customer service to all visitors.

Successfully prepare and sell food and beverages, tour products and merchandise.

Operate an on-line booking and POS system, EFTPOS and cash handling.

Comply with Food Safety and OHS compliance of café operations.

Assist with the successful delivery of aligned projects including Groove Tram.

Other duties within training and competencies as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

A passion for great customer service.

Experience in hospitality.

Barista skills in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work as part of a team.

Good basic computer skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) highly regarded

Availability to work weekends, school holidays and public holidays is essential.

All Bendigo Heritage Attractions employees and volunteers are required to have a valid Working with Children Check.
