Electrical Fitter

Our client is a respected industry leader with a strong presence in the electrical manufacturing sector. Known for their commitment to innovation, safety, and quality workmanship, they are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Fitter to join their high-performing team.

Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
• Wire and assemble panel boards, control panels, and other electrical assemblies
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and General Arrangement (GA) drawings
• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
• Ensure work is completed to high quality and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

Essential skills and requirements:
• Trade qualification (Electrical Fitter or equivalent – e.g. Certificate III in Electrotechnology)
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate – Certificate III required
• Previous experience in electrical fitting or electrical construction
• Demonstrated ability to wire complex electrical assemblies with attention to detail
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and GA drawings
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
