Our client, a highly successful and growing service underground mining contractor with both Australian and international clients, is currently seeking Underground Shift Supervisor to join their team to cover their UG Shift Supervisor's leave. They have small crews with a great team environment.

This is a contract role for a fill in Shift supervisor from the 5th of June 2025 until the 18th of September 2025 7/7 or 2/2 roster rotating days / nights commencing. Arriving the 5th to get accustomed to the mine and the other Supervisor will be on leave from the 19th of June.

Role duties:

• Assist with team training & development and training of personnel
• Take the lead on explosiveness awareness, tagging procedures, JSAs and fatigue management
• Be involved with the development and implementation of operational & maintenance plans to ensure the achievement of weekly and daily production targets
• Assist with the implementation of a continuous improvement program for all aspects of mining operations
• Provide visible safety leadership and promote a positive safety culture ensuring the health and safety of all personnel involved in operations

To be considered you must have or be willing to get:

• WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency (essential)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Manual WA Driver’s license
• Working Safely at Heights Certificate
• 2 years supervisory experience (essential)
• A strong work ethic, excellent team leader and safety focused
• Senior First Aid certificate
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Full Australian Working rights
