A Factory Hand - Spring Manufacturer is responsible for producing a wide variety of springs including compression, extension, torsion, and specialty springs. This role involves setting up and operating spring coiling machines, reading blueprints and technical drawings, conducting quality checks, and ensuring products meet required specifications. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with metal-forming machinery.

Our Client:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality springs used in various industries, including automotive, hospitals, and industrial machinery. They are committed to producing durable, reliable products while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Factory Hand to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth work-flow and timely completion of tasks
  • Performing general maintenance and housekeeping duties as required
  • Identifying and reporting any issues or defects in the manufacturing process
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing machines and equipment
  • Ensure the proper setup, calibration and maintenance of equipment
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Adhere to production schedules and meet deadlines

Your Profile

  • Basic understanding of assembly techniques and the operation of various power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
