About the role

Eastcad Design is seeking an experienced Archicad Draftsman to join our team in Ringwood, Victoria on a contract basis. As an Archicad Draftsman, you have experience in Town Planning, Concept Designing, translating architectural designs into detailed technical drawings, ensuring the seamless execution of our clients' visions.

What you'll be doing

Producing high-quality, detailed architectural drawings using Archicad software

Interpreting sketches and translating design concepts into 2D and 3D drawings

Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in documentation

Maintaining and updating drawing sets throughout the project lifecycle

Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and project specifications

Providing support and advice to other team members

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Archicad Draftsman or similar role

Proficient in the use of Archicad software and other CAD/BIM tools

Good understanding of architectural principles, building regulations, and construction methods

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under deadlines

Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and accountable
