Bannister In Home Care is seeking an experienced mature Community Support Worker for services throughout the Gold Coast.

Bannister In Home Care family-owned service provider that was established in 2013. We pride ourselves on delivering professional and affordable in-home aged and disability supports.

Our Queensland operation provides in home care services to people in the NSW Northern Rivers, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast communities.

We are currently looking for staff who are friendly, positive and reliable to help us continue to deliver high quality care.

About The Role

We are seeking experienced Aged Care Community Support Worker's who are responsible and proactive, for services throughout the Gold Coast.

You will be providing support to our clients in their day-to-day lives, by assisting and encouraging them to participate in tasks such as (but not limited to):

Home Help - light cleaning, meal prep, laundry, scheduling appointments

Personal Care - showering, dressing

Manual Handling - transfers

Transport - appointments, shopping, social support

Companionship

Personal Attributes

Community/Aged/Disability Care experience

Physically fit

Exceptional communication and organisational skills

Attention to detail, cleanliness and hygiene

Professionalism, discretion, understanding and respectful in relation to the client and family

Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised

Mature outlook

Fairly tech savvy

The ideal candidate/s will have the availability and flexibility to work predominately Monday to Friday (early starts) with weekend and evening services being offered from time to time.

Skills & Experience

MUST HAVE Certificate III or higher in Aged, Disability, Individual Support or other relevant qualification

Minimum of 6 months paid work experience in a similar role

MUST HAVE Current CPR, First Aid

MUST HAVE Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening card

MUST HAVE Own reliable transport (will be using your own car)

MUST HAVE valid Australian Driver's licence

MUST HAVE Evidence of Covid Vaccinations

MUST HAVE Australian Work Rights verification

Two relevant work references
