About the role

Our busy cafe, Caffe Brioso is looking for an enthusiastic Chef Assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team in Randwick, NSW. Even though a casual role initially, each days hours will be set at Monday - Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, high-quality hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the preparation and cooking of a wide range of dishes

Ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Following recipes and instructions precisely to deliver consistent, high-quality meals

Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet service demands

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Chef Assistant or in a similar entry-level kitchen role

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

A keen interest in food and the hospitality industry

A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

Food safety and hygiene certification (desirable)
