At St Brigid's OSHC, we’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic casual educators who are passionate about supporting the growth and development of primary school-aged children. If you’re committed to helping children learn, have fun, and feel safe in a positive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
As an Educator reporting to the Service Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming space. You’ll help deliver a variety of engaging, interactive activities that support learning and encourage creativity.
Our Service:
At St Brigid's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to 100+ children. St Brigid's OSHC is located on the grounds of St Brigid's Catholic Primary School and is a part of strong and thriving school community.
A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…
- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
