About the Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you'll work closely with the Managing Partner to lead accounting and tax compliance activities, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic advisory work. You'll take ownership across a broad range of clients and engagements, with plenty of opportunity to step into a leadership capacity.

Duties:

• Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements (individuals, trusts, partnerships, companies)
• Review BAS, IAS, and SMSF compliance work
• Guide and support junior and offshore team members
• Collaborate on tax planning, CGT, GST, FBT, Div 7A, and advisory work
• Liaise directly with clients and external agencies
• Contribute to workflow management and process improvement
• Grow into a leadership/management role over time

Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified; CA-qualified or on the path to completion
• Minimum 3 years' local business services experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with an organised and proactive approach
• Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office
• Full working rights required
