Who Are We?
We are not a recruitment team (but we are close!). We are a small team of eight and provide transactional services including advertising roles, preparing shortlists, offers and onboarding to support the hiring process for unsworn roles across NSW Police. The roles we support in NSW Police are unique; from administration assistants to pilots; dog handlers to musicians and everything in between!
We have an exciting ongoing opportunity for a recruitment administrator or like assist with the posting of advertisements, creation of requisitions and preparation of shortlisting for hiring managers. You will be a key part of the team committed to providing quality, timely and effective administrative support for all recruitment activities.
You will collaborate closely with your team and hiring managers alike to ensure all processes are followed and that documentation is accurate up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Post job advertisement and manage requisition creation across relevant platforms.
- Assist with the generation and formatting of shortlist for hiring managers.
- Provide high quality administrative support to the hiring managers and your team.
- Maintain accurate and up to date recruitment records.
- Ensure all recruitment processes are followed in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Support with other administrative tasks as required.
- Answer phone calls and assist with general enquiries.
This role may also require you to work weekends and travel regionally once or twice a year as needed to support recruitment campaigns and attend community events.

About You

- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing clear and friendly assistance.
- A proactive and helpful attitude with a focus on teamwork
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to administrative tasks
- Confident working with digital systems and platforms (e.g. Microsoft office, recruitment platforms, ticketing systems)
- Previous experience in administration or HR support role
