About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team at Platform Architects as an Architectural Revit Technician. Based in our Manly, NSW office, this is a contract role that offers the chance to work on a variety of residential projects in a dynamic, creative and collaborative, harbourside environment.

What you'll be doing

Producing coordinated construction drawings for boutique Class 2 residential apartment buildings

Collecting and interpreting information, regulations, and instructions to ensure compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian standards.

Collaborating with senior designers to prepare architectural plans and documentation for Construction Certificate (CC) and IFC, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and design and construction standards.

Drafting and reviewing architectural drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

Reviewing and Coordinating consultant documentation and integrating it with architectural plans to maintain consistency across all project materials.

What we're looking for

Resident of Australia (This is not a remote role)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a construction documentation role in Australia

Experience documenting class 2 building

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Advanced Revit skills – this is essential

Proficient in sketch up

Strong understanding of NCC and DBPA

Awesome attitude
