We currently have an opportunity available for capable and experienced truck driver to operate a Bitumen Spray Plant with a road maintenance team based in Narrandera. HC licence is required as well as a Dangerous Goods Ticket.

This role will involve regular travel, overtime and camping away so applicants must be available to work away on a constant basis. Applicable overtime penalties and allowances will be paid, and accommodation will be arranged / provided for you.

This role will involve working full time hours, across a 9-day fortnight, for a period of 3 months initially with genuine potential of extending for a number of months beyond this initial timeframe for suitable workers.

Applicants must be a genuine team player who is also willing to undertake manual labouring tasks.

This role will require a start of work in August to align with the main road sealing season.

Successful Applicants will need;

WHS White Card

Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

truck licence - HC or above

Dangerous Goods licence

traffic control ticket/s - preferred but not essential

good all round fitness for manual work tasks

previous experience with the operation of a bitumen spray plant for road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
