Uber is looking for brand new Uber Experts to help grow our driver base!

In this role, you will play a key part in expanding Uber’s driver base by actively identifying and engaging potential driver partners. You will use your sales and customer service skills to generate leads, follow up with prospective drivers, and guide them through the sign-up and onboarding process.

Role: Driver Acquisition Field Agent

Location: Adelaide

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Mon-Fri, part time hours (20 hours per week)

Rate: $31.23/h plus super + bonus! ($50 bonus for every Driver that completes the onboarding process and takes 10 trips)

About You:

- You are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and customer engagement. While previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, fundraising, or customer service is beneficial, it is not required for success in this role.

- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and can easily initiate conversations. Your ability to work independently, combined with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensures you provide a seamless onboarding experience for new driver partners.

- You must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license, as this role requires visiting different markets and establishing a presence on the ground.

What you'll do:

- As a strong communicator, you will build rapport, establish trust, and tailor your approach to each driver’s needs and motivations.

- You will identify prospective drivers and act as an account manager for leads, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance throughout the onboarding journey.

- Your ability to nurture and manage leads through the funnel will be key to driving successful driver conversions.

- This role will involve traveling to different locations (via driving / holding valid driver’s license) to meet potential driver-partners, provide hands-on support, and strengthen Uber’s presence in key markets

- Act as our eyes on the ground, identifying opportunities and challenges in local markets

- Engage with local stakeholders (ex. Local businesses, community centres and government agencies) to build relationships and identify opportunities

Key competencies and skills you'll need:
