About the role
We are seeking compassionate and skilled complex care support workers to join our team and assist our client based in Yarraville. Our client is quadriplegic and is very specific with his care. Looking for support workers who are readily available for inactive sleepover shifts starting from 6.30pm to 7.00am from Monday to Saturday. If you're experienced and passionate about providing exceptional complex care, we want to hear from you! Duties will include but not limited to:

  • High Level Personal Hygiene Assistance
  • Complex Bowel Care
  • Complex Catheter Care
  • Manual Handling (Hoist)

About you

  • Experience providing personal care, including assistance with complex bowel care like digital stimulation, complex catheter management and ventilation support.
  • Skilled in manual handling techniques to ensure safety and comfort when supporting individuals.
  • Knowledgeable in community access, helping individuals engage in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Experience supporting clients with complex spinal cord injuries or neurological conditions requiring high-level care.
  • Ability to manage complex behaviors, including the use of restrictive practices when necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and protocols.
