THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is key in supporting the General Manager (GM) of Callide Power Station in enhancing organisational effectiveness by actively driving the implementation and maintenance of CS Energy’s risk, compliance, assurance, and governance framework.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate and manage site-level governance across CS Energy and Joint Venture (JV) risk, compliance, and assurance systems and processes.
Oversee site assurance activities, audits and reviews.
Manage actions, conduct reviews, and prepare reports for site management and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the Risk, Compliance & Assurance team and Callide site leadership to foster effective risk, compliance, and assurance practices.
Provide leadership and support to employees as needed to meet operational and strategic goals.
Assist the GM in operationalising site-wide and organisation-wide improvement initiatives.
Conducting analytical reporting and driving continuous improvement with a focus on outcomes.
This role includes participation in the Callide Senior Leadership Team.
The position will require close engagement with a range of stakeholders across CS Energy—particularly the Risk, Compliance & Assurance and Business Improvement teams—to ensure transparency, alignment, and continuity of service delivery, thereby supporting overall business performance in line with strategic objectives.
This is a full time (36.25 hours - 4 day work week), fixed term (until 27 August 2026) role at Callide Power Station.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will:
Qualifications and Experience -
Diploma or Certificate V in Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or willingness to work towards certification).
Strong knowledge and practical application of continuous improvement principles and tools.
Previous experience in supervision and team leadership.
Familiarity with document management systems and governance frameworks including CGR.
Solid understanding of risk and compliance management.
Experience in heavy industry is highly desirable.
