This is more than just a compliance function — you’ll play a pivotal role in embedding and evolving the organisation’s approach to risk and compliance across a unique and technically sophisticated business. You’ll lead initiatives across risk governance, regulatory compliance, privacy, and process improvement.
This opportunity offers variety, purpose, and visibility, with regular engagement across senior leadership and direct input into Board reporting and committee forums.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Risk Management: Own the enterprise risk management framework; partner with the business to identify and manage strategic and operational risks; and lead regular reporting to the CEO and Board.
• Compliance: Develop and implement a Compliance Management Framework, including a centralised issue and breach management process, compliance monitoring, and control testing.
• Privacy: Manage and evolve the Privacy Policy; conduct privacy impact assessments; lead incident responses; and act as a trusted advisor across the business on data handling and privacy governance.

What you'll bring:

• A degree in Business, Law, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years' experience in a governance, privacy, risk, audit or compliance role
• Proven experience building and implementing risk, compliance and privacy frameworks
• Solid understanding of Privacy Legislation and the Telecommunications Act
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders

Desirable extras:

• Industry-recognised certifications in risk, compliance, or audit
• Experience in internal audit and control testing methodologies
• Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement
