Business Services Accountant – Step Up with a Top 10 Firm

In this role, you will:

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and general-purpose reports across a diverse range of clients and industries

• Manage BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, and conduct tax research

• Support SMSF preparation, planning, and advisory work

• Gain exposure to a variety of structures – companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

• Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and prepare supporting work papers

• Collaborate with other divisions and continuously build your technical skills

• Learn how to build financial models and maintain dashboards – Great stepping stone and to be an all-round accountant

• Engage directly with clients early in your career to build strong advisory experience

About You:

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Business, or Commerce

• Proficient with MYOB, Xero, and Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a client-service mindset

• Ideally commenced CAANZ, CPA, or CTA studies

• 12–24 months’ experience in a local public practice firm
