Charman Australia is a well-established roofing company. Due to the amount of upcoming jobs, there are positions available for experienced Roof Carpenters and contractors to join the team. Qualification/ Experience:

Working at Heights

White Card

Have your own tools

Driver's license

Responsibilities/tasks:

Reviewing blueprints and plans to identify project needs and installation steps

Choosing and ordering materials, then planning out the work layout

Measuring, cutting, and joining materials using nails or other fasteners

Building frames, roof structures, sub-floors, and floorboards, and ensuring all components are level and properly aligned

Installing fascia boards, roofing materials, wall cladding, and fitting doors and window frames

Assembling wooden parts to create structures and fittings ready for installation

Shaping and joining wood using traditional joinery techniques

May build molds and forms for concrete work

May repair or restore existing wood structures and fittings

May also work with materials like plastic laminates, acrylic (Perspex), and metal

Essential Criteria:

Hardworking and Reliable

Be able to work autonomously and collaboratively

Completes works to a high standard

Able to use carpentry hand and power tools
