About the role

Scales Seafood is seeking a skilled and effecient Short Order Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team in Tweed Heads, NSW. Experience preferred however, all applications will be considered. In this casual position, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items quickly and accurately, while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a range of seafood dishes to our high standards

Follow recipe specifications and ensure consistent food quality

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work station

Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of our customers

Willing to learn food preparation and cooking techniques, particularly for seafood dishes

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food
