About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Short Order Cook to join our kitchen team. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing a variety of menu items including burgers, sandwiches, chips, and other short-order meals

Cooking breakfast buffet items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, roasted tomatoes, pancakes, and more

Following recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and high-quality dishes

Managing food preparation and coordinating cooking times for efficient service

Ensuring all meals are prepared safely and to the correct temperature

Maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as needed

Keeping workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitised

Collaborating with the team to deliver a smooth and enjoyable guest experience

Accommodating dietary needs and special requests when required

On quieter days, this role may also involve general kitchen duties, including assisting with dishes

Option to pick up extra shifts for the right person

About You

Proven experience as a Short Order Cook – barista skills are a bonus!

Solid understanding of food safety, kitchen equipment, and cooking techniques

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple orders

Strong attention to detail and great organisational skills

Team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for food

A valid Food Handling Certificate

Availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6.30am-3pm

Own transport required due to our location
