Project Coordinator – Primary Care

The Opportunity

Due to an internal secondment, we are offering this position as a maximum term opportunity until May 19, 2027. This is a part time role equivalent to 3 days per week, we offer flexible work schedules and remote working options.

As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Senior Manager General Practice and Reform and the engagement team to support the successful implementation of projects impacting primary healthcare throughout the Murray PHN catchment.

Key Accountabilities

Understand requirements of new initiatives from the Department of Health and Aged Care and support the internal and external integration of initiatives that Murray PHN must deliver.

Ensure general practice profiles include up-to-date information regarding new initiatives and are accessible for viewing and interpretation.

Assisting with the development and implementation of practice support strategies, communication plans, website content and supporting the team to ensure sustainability of knowledge regarding initiatives.

Data Collection and Reporting: Determine and implement the best data collection and reporting processes.

About You

You are inspired to make a meaningful impact on health for the rural communities that follow the Dhelkunya Yaluk (Healing River).

Key Capabilities

Relevant tertiary education in health, social sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Essential knowledge and/or experience in the primary care and/or aged care sectors.

Experience in project management and general practice.

Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
