$33.86 - $36.64 per hour + where applicable casual loading and weekend penalty rates + 11.5% superannuation

As part of the Sport, Recreation and Leisure Facilities section, the Leisure Facilities team focus on the delivery of customer centric services and programs that meet the health and wellbeing needs of Campbelltown’s growing population.

About the role:
Campbelltown City Council is working towards being a progressive organisation and we have new and exciting opportunities for enthusiastic Learn to Swim Instructors.
To thrive in the role, you will have an outgoing personality, positive attitude with enthusiasm; versatility and a willingness to teach learn to swim classes at our leisure centres.
Council's Leisure Services currently include:
Eagle Vale Central
Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre
The Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
Available to work afternoon, Saturday and/or Sunday mornings.
Available to work at any of the three Aquatic Facilities.
You have current industry recognised Learn to Swim Instructor Certificate (AUSTSWIM: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, RLSSA: Swim Teacher License, or Swim Australia: Swim Teacher Australia).
You have current Resuscitation certificate.
You have knowledge of how to instruct and plan learn to swim classes.
You possess effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
You have valid Working with Children check
