Full Job Description:

BG Drilling is a multi-disciplinary drilling company servicing the entire eastern area of Australia. We strive to combine innovative drilling technology with strong industry knowledge to deliver safe and productive projects and site investigations.

The Opportunity:

Due to recent growth, we are seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle, Diesel or plant mechanic) for our yard to manage maintenance and general repairs on our plant and equipment. You will be primarily based at our Banksmeadow, NSW headquarters with occasional travel to site required.

About the role:

• Work closely with management and onsite staff ensuring parts are ordered for defect repairs
• Carrying out scheduled inspections of our mining and geotechnical fleet to identify, record and fix defects
• Recording and updating maintenance records of all BG Drilling assets

What we are looking for:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Be computer literate
• Have the ability to plan, prioritise and lead a team
• Previous experience
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
