About the Role

Are you ready to make a real impact in the world of financial crime operations? As a CDD Specialist at BOQ Group, you'll be at the forefront of uplifting and enforcing our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes to ensure compliance with AML/CTF regulatory requirements. You'll be the go-to person for complex KYC cases and escalations, providing top-notch support and guidance to your team.

In this role, you'll coach, develop, and train new and existing members of the Customer Due Diligence team, ensuring everyone is up to speed and confident in their roles. You'll handle internal and external audits related to CDD, identify and escalate potential risks in the KYC process, and manage relationships with external stakeholders. Plus, you'll be the first point of contact for any complex queries on the KYC process and assist in delivering training where needed. You will be a key member involved in the rollout of Fenergo across CDD, so proficiency in this software is a must!

You'll also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of customer information, delivering on agreed targets, and communicating progress to leaders. This role is all about making a difference and ensuring BOQ Group remains compliant and secure while providing exceptional customer experiences.

About you

We're looking for someone special to join our team! You – our ideal candidate has experience in dealing with KYC and CDD initiatives, with a sound knowledge of AML/CTF legislation. Prior experience within a medium-sized financial services institution and ACAMS (or equivalent) qualifications are preferred. And of course, you need to be proficient in Fenergo.

You should be a team player with a strong work ethic and customer focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are crucial. We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities, who can maintain confidentiality and quality standards.
