Are you passionate about protecting our local produce and supporting sustainable agriculture? We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Fruit Fly Controller to help safeguard our crops and communities from one of horticulture's most persistent pests.

🌿 About the Role:

As a Fruit Fly Controller, you'll be on the frontline of pest management, monitoring and managing fruit fly populations through a combination of trapping, data collection, treatment, and public education. Whether you're inspecting orchards, placing traps, or advising growers, your work will be vital to maintaining fruit fly-free zones and protecting Australia's agricultural economy.

🛠 What You'll Do:

Set up and monitor fruit fly traps in designated areas

Identify and log pest activity using mobile data systems

Apply control treatments (e.g., baiting/traps) where needed

Work with landowners, growers, and the public to raise awareness

Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting for regulatory compliance

✅ What We're Looking For:

A current driver's license and reliable transport

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Friendly and professional communication skills

• Full working rights, with no restrictions

Previous experience in pest management or agriculture is a plus-but not required. Full training provided!
