Lives Lived Well provides support for people in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia who are being impacted by alcohol or drugs or problems with mental health.
Our service in Northern Adelaide provides person-centred mental health care to children (0-11yrs) and their families to underserviced and at-risk groups in the Northern Adelaide PHN Region. Care includes triaging, assessments, low intensity mental health intervention as well as psychological therapy.

Your opportunity
In this position you will lead the implementation and ongoing development of services for families and their children aged 0 to 11 years. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service meets all funding targets and compliance requirements. It is essential to provide culturally appropriate services that are inclusive of Indigenous Australians, LGBTIQA+ individuals, and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
The role also involves, fostering strong stakeholder engagement, and maintaining positive relationships to support effective referral pathways and client outcomes. Additionally, the position oversees the day-to-day operations of the service, manages a modest caseload, and promotes evidence-based clinical practices. This includes facilitating regular clinical review meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
This is an ongoing full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. The gross annual salary for this role ranges between $106,379 to $111,094 plus superannuation and the opportunity to salary package. The salary on offer will be commensurate with the preferred candidate’s skills, knowledge, and experience.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a passionate, people focused and innovative leader. To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or relevant discipline and hold or be eligible for membership of AHPRA or the appropriate professional body.
- Several years of clinical practice in mental health treatment and care.
- Demonstrated skills in staff supervision and proven ability to provide clinical and operational leadership and management (including development) of a multi-disciplinary team (including human and financial resource matters).
- Substantial experience and proven expertise in the application of evidence-based clinical practice within the mental health field (including families and children and/or peri-natal care).
- Experience and demonstrated skill in the coordination of individualised psychosocial interventions to meet the needs of families and their children.
- Experience in working with Aboriginal, CALD and/or LGBTIQAP+ communities
- Current and valid Working With Children Check

- Experience in establishing a new service
