Insurance Broker

Our client are a well-established brokerage with decades of experience, they have multiple offices in Australia and due to a period of growth are now seeking an Account Broker to join their team on a permanent basis supporting SME clients.

About the Role

As an Insurance Broker, you will provide support to the team by broking accounts, reporting results, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with an account manager on a portfolio of SME client to identify business opportunities, acquire new clients, and retain existing ones. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Responding to client enquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Providing administrative support to the team as required
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of general insurance products
• Presenting recommendations and options to clients and agreeing on implementation
  

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Tier 1 Mandatory qualification in insurance
• Equivalent corporate experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing circumstances
